Can you survive?
The narrator, with light brown hair styled simply and practically, wearing a grey sweater and comfortable jeans, pushes away from the bed and takes a deep breath. The hallway is dimly lit and sterile, with muted yellow walls and a speckled linoleum floor. They approach the nursery, which is lit brightly, its wide glass windows providing a clear view inside. Rows of tiny cribs, arranged in neat lines, house infants swaddled in pink and blue blankets. The infants' chests rise and fall, their small, delicate faces either peaceful in sleep or slightly contorted in squirming. Nurses, dressed in white uniforms, move efficiently between the cribs. A middle-aged nurse of African descent with short, curly hair and a serious expression barks quiet orders. Another nurse, younger and of East Asian descent, has long black hair tied back in a tight ponytail, her movements precise and graceful. The scene is clinical and serene, punctuated by the occasional cry of a newborn.
